Plant and Construction Equipment Hire
One of the keys to GG Mackenzie’s success over the years has been having the right machinery to enable us to carry out a variety of different jobs.
We have a full range of modern construction plant and equipment available from our own extensive fleet, including 10 no. excavators ranging in size from 1.5t to 20t, a selection of dumpers - tracked and wheeled - varying in size from 3t to 20t, crawlers, lorries, JCB Fastrac, a variety of trailers, hotbox, mobile lifting platforms, screening plant, mobile site offices, concrete equipment etc.
All our plant is regularly checked and serviced by a qualified fitter in our workshop at Corriemoillie to ensure it complies with all the current safety requirements.
We also own specialised machinery such as a Rough Terrain Cement Mixer which can be used on sites where normal lorries would struggle to access and a Grundomat Soil Displacement Hammer. |
This is capable of installing ducts, sewer and water pipes up to 150mm diameter, underneath carriageways without the need for the excavation of carriageway surfaces minimising traffic disruption and the need for traffic control measures.
