As a subcontractor to Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions we have been responsible for the formation of several access roads to new tower locations at the Mossford end of this large scale project. We have also carried out reinstatement works following the erection of the new towers, many of which have been in areas of deep peat. As part of the same project we installed 11kv cabling to the new Corriemoillie Substation for SSE, a section of which we ‘moled’ under the public road to minimise traffic disruption.

Having been the main Civils contractor for the Isle of Eigg Electrification project we were delighted to be appointed the same position on the Isle of Muck Electrification scheme. We were responsible for all the civils works for the photovoltaic array and the 6 wind turbines, including all site works, cabling and bases. We also constructed the battery inverter building.
